The birch discs can be used to furnish a small animal enclosure or bird aviary. They are readily accepted by the animals as nibbling material or as toys. Of course, the discs are also suitable for handicrafts, e.g. for edging a level in a small animal enclosure, as roofing for a wooden house, as contents for rummage boxes, etc. pp.
Despite natural drying, cracks or bulges may occur. Some of the bark may also flake off. This is natural and does not constitute grounds for complaint.
