Canaries roam their environment in search of food and water and feed on the meagre fare offered by the steppes.
Our feed mix consists of a variety of herbs such as chopped nettle and dandelion leaves as well as grated thyme and marjoram.
Three varieties of valuable flowers round off the mixture. These include lavender and camomile, which are said to have anti-inflammatory and calming properties.
Rowan berries and elderberries add variety to the diet. They provide plenty of vitamins and minerals.

Tip
Regularly feed your birds green food, fruit, sprouted food, grit and cuttlebone.
