Ginkgo leaves
Dried ginkgo leaves are the leaves of the ginkgo tree (Ginkgo biloba), which can be dried and used in various forms. Ginkgo leaves are often used in natural medicine and in animal nutrition. With regard to small rodents and rabbits, dried ginkgo leaves can be a healthy addition to their diet.

Guinea pigs: Guinea pigs can benefit from dried ginkgo leaves as they are a source of antioxidants. These leaves can promote guinea pig health by fighting free radicals and possibly supporting the immune system.

Chinchilla: Chinchillas have a delicate digestive system and dried ginkgo leaves can be a high fibre addition to their diet. The fibre can help promote healthy digestion and wear down the chinchilla's teeth by chewing the leaves.

Degu: Similar to chinchillas, degus also benefit from the fibre source that dried ginkgo leaves provide. However, a balanced diet for degus should consist mainly of dried herbs & roots, seeds, some fresh vegetables. Dried ginkgo leaves should only be considered as an occasional supplement.

Rabbits (pygmy rabbits, rams): Rabbits may also benefit from the fibre in dried ginkgo leaves. However, it is important to note that rabbits require a predominantly high fibre diet consisting mainly of hay, fresh herbs & vegetables and a limited amount of dried herbs. Dried ginkgo leaves should only be considered as an occasional snack and should not be the main source of fibre.

In conclusion, dried ginkgo leaves can be a supplement to the diet of small rodents such as guinea pigs, chinchillas, degus and rabbits. However, they should only be given in limited quantities and should not be the main source of nutrition.
