Blackcurrant nibble sticks - natural nibbling fun for rodents & ornamental birds
The natural nibbles from the blackcurrant bush offer an ideal combination of activity, care and enjoyment for a wide range of pets - from rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, degus, rats, chinchillas and hamsters to budgerigars, cockatiels, agapornids and parrots. The coarsely textured twigs come from high-quality blackcurrant bushes and have a fine, fruity flavour. They invite the animals to nibble and gnaw extensively, which promotes natural tooth abrasion in rodents and beak care in birds.
With diameters of 0.3 cm to 2 cm and a length of 3 cm to 10 cm, the twigs offer a variety of nibbling options. The wood has a distinctive, soft texture that makes gnawing a special experience, while the sometimes rougher bark offers additional activity value. The wood is completely untreated and contains no artificial additives or colourings or flavourings, making it perfect for healthy and species-appropriate husbandry.
In addition to their function as a nibbling material, the robust twigs are also ideal for crafting. They can be used to create enclosures, build small bridges or playgrounds or simply as a varied gnawing option that provides more exercise and mental stimulation.
Simply place them in the cage, enclosure or aviary. For birds, the twigs can also be hung up or integrated into toys to provide even more fun and variety.
