With the millet feast, you can add variety to your parakeet's diet. The cooked food can also be used to feed sick, weak and old birds. However, please follow the instructions of your avian vet!
The composition of the ingredients takes into account the susceptibility of budgerigars to macrorhabdiosis. This is why it does not contain fruit, but low-fructose berries. In contrast to sprouted food, the risk of broodiness is significantly reduced with cooked food, as the protein content does not increase due to the absence of sprouts.
Cooked food is easier to digest than dry seeds and has a reduced calorie content due to the high water content for the same amount. If required, the cooked feed can be supplemented with fresh herbs and vegetables.
Important note: Offer lukewarm to room temperature and prepare without salt!
