Cooked Food | Deer Feast

The millet feast is a cooked food especially for budgies, cockatiels and other smaller parrots. The cooked food consists of easily digestible millet varieties, carrots and low-fructose berries. Parsley stalks round off the tasty treat for your parakeets.

With the millet feast you bring variety into the menu of your crooknecks. The cooked food can also be used to feed sick, weak and old birds. However, please follow the instructions of your avian veterinarian!

The composition of the ingredients takes into account the susceptibility of budgies to macrorhabdiosis. Therefore, no fruit is included, but berries with low fructose content. In contrast to sprouted food, the risk of brooding is significantly reduced with cooked food, as the protein content does not increase due to the absence of the sprout.

Cooked food is easier to digest than dry seeds and has a reduced calorie content due to the high water content for the same quantity. If necessary, the cooked food can be supplemented with fresh herbs and vegetables.

Important note: Offer lukewarm to room temperature and prepare without salt!
