Pagima Green

Pagima Green" is a fine grass seed from Uganda that is particularly popular with budgies, cockatiels, agapornids, pink cockatoos, sparrow parrots as well as finches such as zebra finches, gouldamadins and canaries .

Small rodents such as golden hamsters, dwarf hamsters, rats or mice also enjoy the grass seeds and like to eat them.

The individual grains are characterised by their light green colouring and Pagima Green is a species from the sweet grass family (Poaceae). Pagima Green is rich in vitamins and fibre and improves the well-being and digestion of rodents and birds. The grass seed is low in fat and high in fibre.

Golden hamsters, dwarf hamsters, rats, mice, budgies, cockatiels, agapornids, pink cockatoos, sparrow parrots, finches such as zebra finches, gouldamadins and canaries like these fine seeds very much and tolerate them well. Regular feeding is recommended. You can offer Pagima Green as a treat in a separate bowl or mix it into a species-appropriate ready mix.

However, it is not suitable as a swelling or cooking food or for sprouting.
