Budgies Energy Plus

A staple food for all budgies that need extra energy! The mixture is designed for budgies kept outdoors all year round. However, the feed can also be given during and after rearing of young birds or as a digestible peppermint feed in case of illness. The different millet varieties, canary seed and naked oats are eaten with pleasure. The small-grained Fonio Paddy (also called starvation millet), which comes from Africa, can also be found in the mixture. The proteins it contains are said to be better tolerated than those of other types of millet. The proportion of floury seeds in this feed is 78 percent.

High-quality oil-containing seeds and grass seeds each account for 11 percent. As budgies feed mainly on grass seeds in the wild, these should not be missing from any mixture. Especially when rearing young birds, the chicks are accustomed to it from an early age.

Seeds containing oil are often frowned upon in pet bird keeping - wrongly! The mixture contains high-quality seeds of herbs and weeds that provide the birds with essential vitamins, amino acids, minerals and trace elements.

Feeding recommendation2-3

tsp per day per bird. In outdoor aviaries, feed freely. Supplement regularly with fresh food and minerals.

Our tip
Please check the weight of your birds regularly and adjust the daily feed amount accordingly. It is also advisable to have an annual health check-up with a veterinarian who knows birds. Also remember to give them fresh water (several times) a day!

Gute Futtermischung, nur Kamillenblüten von Wellis nicht gern genommen.

Das bestelle ich regelmäßig. Es ist immer noch Beigabe zum Normalfutter (50/50) aber sie bestehen jetzt darauf, dass es dabei ist :). Die Kamillenblüten bräuchten nicht dabei zu sein, da gehen sie gar nicht ran.

Ich habe schon einige Futtersorten von Mixerama ausprobiert für meine Wellensittiche,alle sind top aber das ist eine Sorte die meinen Wellensittichen besonders schmeckt und deswegen kaufe ich sie regelmäßig. Der Inhalt der Körner und Samen ist sehr ausgewogen und für Wellensittiche die etwas mehr brauchen an Nahrung perfekt,ich gebe aber auch nicht nur das Futter sondern mische es noch mit fettarmen Futtersorten.

Immer wieder gerne

Riecht sehr Frisch und nicht künstlich. Die Tiere lieben es und am ende des Tages ist alles Leer. Werde es wohl immer wieder bestellen auch die zusammensetzung gefällt mir sehr.
