Grass seeds are lower in calories than millet, and budgies spend more time eating the fine seeds than they do husking large grains. This makes the food ideal for overweight budgies that need to lose weight or for those that are fit and want to stay that way. The species-appropriate staple food contains 37 % grass seeds, 34 % meal-containing seeds, 26 % high-quality oil-containing seeds, 2 % herbs and 1 % flowers.
Budgies kept outdoors, during young rearing or in case of illness need more energy. Therefore, Energy Plus should be given temporarily in such cases. Alternatively, you can add the base mix to the Australia to make it more calorific.

Please check the weight of your birds regularly and adjust the daily feed amount accordingly. It is also advisable to have an annual health check-up with a veterinarian who knows birds. Also remember to give them fresh water (several times) a day!

Meine Wellis lieben es🥰
Meine Wellis lieben es🥰 kennen bereits auch anderes Futter speziell aus ihrer Heimat und für sie abgestimmt, wollte mal etwas anderes ausprobieren....die Körnermischung ist ein echter Leckerbissen wie es aussieht😋 ich mische persönlich noch getrocknete Kräuter/Blüten dazu, so dass sie Abwechlungsreich futtern können. Würde ich auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen 🤗

Sehr gutes und ausgewogenes Futter für Wellensittiche.
Das Futter wird gerne gefressen und ich habe ein gutes Gefühl bei der Zusammensetzung.

Gut als Beigabe (Verdopplung) des Hauptfutters
Die Mischung ist gut für Wellensittiche, wenn ich sie 1:1 mit einer 'fetteren' Mischung mixe. Als Hauptfutter nehmen meine Wellensittiche sie nicht so gut an, ungefähr die Hälfte landet unbeachtet im Sand. Es sind zu viele Kamillenblüten darin und zu viel Fenchel - das fressen sie gar nicht.
