In nature, grey parrots feed on fruits and plant parts, such as flowers and buds. Nuts and seeds are also part of the diet. In pet keeping, however, sufficient exercise is often neglected, which is why grey parrots have a reduced energy requirement here. Therefore, this food mix contains a high proportion of low-sugar and low-fat vegetables, such as beetroot, cucumber or chilli. Jerusalem artichoke also contains vitamins A, B1, B2 and niacin. The contents of the minerals iron, potassium and calcium are significantly higher compared to other root vegetables. Calcium is important for grey parrots, as they have a higher requirement for this mineral.
To maintain or slightly reduce the weight of grey parrots, it is recommended to feed them according to their basic requirements and to supplement them daily with sufficient fresh food. This type of feeding also prevents overeating or food selection.

Please check the weight of your birds regularly and adjust the daily feeding amount accordingly. It is also advisable to have an annual health check-up with a veterinarian who knows birds. Also remember to give them fresh water (several times) a day!

Mein Papagei will morgens nur noch von dem Futter fressen . Super Qualität alles riecht super frisch . Der Preis für 1 Kg finde ich bischen viel aber wenn es meinem Papagei schmeckt zahle ich das gerne .
